Vanessa Bryant sent a message to late husband Kobe Bryant on his 45th birthday

Kobe Bryant will always be loved by Vanessa Bryant.

I will always and forever love you. The couple could be seen together on numerous occasions, including when Kobe won the 2018 Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film, according to the 41-year-old’s photo carousel. Her devotion to the NBA player was expressed a little over three years after the horrific helicopter tragedy in which he and his 13-year-old daughter Gianna “Gigi” Bryant perished.

Since then, Vanessa, who is also the mother of three children aged 4, 6, and 20, Natalya, Bianca, and Capri, has stood by her husband’s side, particularly through significant milestones. Her remembrance actually happened the day after Vanessa’s oldest daughter received a bouquet of flowers from Kobe that was personalized for Natalie for the start of her junior year at USC. Additionally, Vanessa has continued Kobe’s legacy at her major occasions, most recently at Taylor Swift’s concert in Los Angeles. In reality, Vanessa decorated the back of the Eras Tour jacket she wore for the singer’s concert at SoFi Stadium on August 3 with a sizable screen print of Kobe and the pop star.

The photo, which can be seen in pictures uploaded on her Instagram Stories, was taken in 2015 to honor Taylor for breaking the record for most sold-out shows at the Staples Center with Kobe. But Vanessa didn’t stop there; she also embroidered a heart-shaped patch with the words “say you’ll remember me” (a line from Taylor Swift’s song “Wildest Dreams”) on the front of the jacket.

The Grammy winner sent a tribute on social media after learning of the tragedy that claimed the lives of Kobe, Gigi, and seven other individuals. Taylor posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, in January 2020, “My heart broke when I heard the news of this horrible tragedy. I am unable to comprehend the struggles these families are going through. To me and to everyone else, Kobe meant the world. I am sending Vanessa and her family my sincere condolences, along with my prayers and unending love.
